Lazy Smurf and friends had a Star Trek cookbook dinner party & I veganized the Klingon delicacy, heart of targ. It was a beety seitan roast with a red wine shallot reduction, balsamic roasted beets and thyme roasted parsnips served over arugula. Pretty gnarly, eh?

That is awesome and gnarly.

Here's what is also awesome and gnarly: I was going to ask if you made gagh too, googled it to make sure I was spelling it correctly and what was the first hit?

Wow, that's AWESOME. I'd love to see more picks of the food! Or, you know, host my own Star Trek dinner party. So rad.

Was it braised in prune juice? That is, after all a warrior's drink.

Wes is too modest to say that it tasted great as well. Purely an accident, I'm sure.
