Almonds, saffron, and barfi are my three favorite things! But then, red lentils and cauliflower are my other two favorite things! It all looks perfect!

Mmmm that stew looks amazing. I've been loving on cauliflower hard lately - but it's expensive here!

Both of those look delicious, but I have a huge soft spot for barfi. My mum used to take me and my brother to a store near my parent's house about once a week, and we used to choose a "tablet" each from the Indian sweets counter. I think I liked the pistachio one the best. My brother liked coconut.

I will definitely be making the barfi! And I hope you continue veganizing more Indian sweets because I would love to be able to enjoy all my childhood favourites again!
