I have been really sick, can't taste much...so I am still working out the kinks in these. This is what I made so far this week... Cheezy mac & cheeze hot dog casserole with buttermilk drop biscuits:  Your a jerk tacos: jerk seasoned baked tofu with sauteed kale & carrots with Isa's red hot tahini and a side of lime rice:  Since there was curiosity about the Zatarain's jambalaya here it was Tofurky kielbasa sausage and corn added to it. I also replaced some of the water with tomato sauce and hot sauce:

Now I want to make hot dog Mac and cheeze. Usually, I put the hot dogs on pizza.

mac 'n cheeze with hot dogs is one of our favorites, too. my spouse calls it "mac 'n nickels". i love that you served your casserole with buttermilk drop biscuits, missmuffcake - and those jerk tacos sound so damn delicious!

I had to serve something bread like to hide the side of kale saute from the boyfriend! The jerk tacos need some work. When I am able to taste things again I will work on them more...Everything has a weird bitter taste right now.

i totally know what you mean with the weird bitter taste. when i'm feeling undertheweather everything tastes like metal or something. drives. me. nuttyboos.
having something breadlike to hide the greens from peeps who are not fond of them is a good tactic. a tasty distraction. fo 'sho. ;)
