I haven't posted any pics for awhile, mainly due to my good camera being broken for awhile, and I haven't been cooking much. This is mushroom pate on grainy sourdough toast with tartar sauce made with homemade cashew mayo. This mayo is so thick and creamy it's like a sour cream or cream cheese consistency and works great for dips and spreads.

Thanks folks!

lutin...I made a basic mayo with soy milk, cashews, canola, lemon juice, a little nooch, dijon mustard, garlic, a little sugar and sea salt, and then added finely chopped capers, pickled gherkins, spring onion and fresh dill. Really yummy!
