This is my first attempt at a non-sweet granola, and I have to say, I'm a convert. The granola is made from puffed quinoa (which I just learned how to make!), rolled oats, roasted pepitas, and poppy seeds held together by a savory "honey"-mustard syrup of brown rice syrup, dijon mustard, garlic, salt, and pepper. Once you let the pan of granola cool, you can break it apart into crouton-sized clusters and toss them onto salads and soups for a toasty, crunchy kick. You can also easily go through a batch just snacking on it plain (I speak from experience).
