This was so easy to make (recipe is on my blog), but it tastes really rich and complex. I just wish I'd made more!

I've never had a chestnut before, so I can't imagine what the soup would taste like, but it sure looks good. And pretty, too.

Do you use the kind that is jarred or the ones in the shell? I get a bit lazy with the shelled ones. ETA nevermind. I just read your blog post. This is a gorgeous soup.
