October 2010 PPK Package Swap Pics!!!

I'm setting this thread up since the PPKer formerly known as buddhist_cupcake, now known as dakini, hasn't been able to get around to it yet.

If you feel so inclined, post a few pics of the packages that you got that were up on the old boards.

To get it started, here are a few that I already posted in the old thread, but amazing enough to repost. Once again, thank you Ruby Rose!!!

oh my gosh! check out my awesome goodies from efcliz!!

Mini super-cute papadams, Ras-el Hanout spice mix, HobNobs, Marzipan bar (chocolate covered and with orange!), marmite, white chocolate buttons, a yummy looking malt loaf with fruits, two white chocolate bars, *rainbow candles!*, English mustard (yum!), gummy candies, marmite rice cakes (this was a good idea, because I have been a little scared of marmite, but these snacks were an easy introduction, and they are very yummy - so soon I will break open my marmite packet and try it on some toast!), Reggae nuts!, & caramelized cookies. It's so much fun.

Most of all I am totally head-over-heels in LOVE with those white chocolate bars. Wow. They are really, really good. I thought I would use them for baking, but instead I think I will slowly nibble away at them and savor each and every bite.

I just got my package from LebaLu today!

I love everything! I got:

tea, apple butter, lara bars, chocolate bars, marble earrings (so cool!), a really pretty bookmark that will come in handy (I do like to read), a smiley scarecrow mug, jerky, cookies, fruit and nuts, suckers, a pumpkin finger puppet, and adorable stickers.

It was so fun to open and try these yummy things out but my absolute favorite part was reading the card. It was so cute, and I loved the "coziness in October" theme! This was my first swap and it was a much greater experience than I ever imagined. Thank you and thank your family for me!!!

Do you see the Ethipian spices and niter kibbeh in the back? Lots of chocolate, a Lush bath bomb, gorgeous lavender clove soap, miso soup, chocolate pudding...I don't know where to start!

Edit--I've tried 3 times...does anyone know why these imbed codes won't work? I'm just copying them from Picasa...

Kelvia, here you go. All you need is the link to the actual image. The embedding code is messing it up.

In that long stream of embedding code, there's the link for the jpeg. I'm not so sure how to find it in Picasa because I use photobucket. They have options on whether you want to embed, use an image code, or link on there.

Yay, I'm glad you like it! Sorry that the salt shattered, but of all the glass containers that were in there, I'm glad that's the one that broke. :)

You can order them online.. but only if you're in the US, sadly. http://www.bostoncookies.com/

Otherwise, you may need to get some awesome goodies from where you live to swap with a PPKer willing to ship some cookies to you. ;)

My package from ladyofchaos came today!

Packets of herbs/seasonings, Manner biscuits, spreads (shiitake, leek, horseradish and green peppercorn), three (3!) packages of karamellgebäck, a little crocheted hedgehog and a dark chocolate bar. (Not pictured: the olive spread I immediately opened and ate for lunch.) Thank you, ladyofchaos!
