The spread; we grew the pumpkins in the middle in our garden Sweet potato and apple gratin with orange Roasted green beans Cornbread stuffing with pecans and raisins Mushroom gravy in my awesome new gravy boat Stuffed portabello mushroom in puff pastry, cranberry sauce Inside shot Roasted garlic mashed potatoes (visible in the spread photo) not individually photographed, and I made a great pumpkin pie but forgot to take a picture.

That gratin sounds great, and I love that you wrapped a portobello in puff pastry! Mmm.

I make the mushroom thing every year, it's really easy, festive, naturally makes a (rather large) individual serving. Perfect if I'm going to an omni's house and want a main dish that's just my size. Plus it tastes great with cranberry sauce, which is essential in my opinion. It's basically just a portabello mushroom cap, a layer of some kind of protein, this year it was slices of mushroom field roast, stuffing, with a square of puff pastry over the top. Bake at 400 until the puff pastry is looking done.

Beautiful food, and what a gorgeous gravy boat.
