A few things I've made over the past week:

Image

A care package for a sick friend, containing espresso brownies and chocolate chip chai shortbread (both from VCIYCJ) and hypnosis cookies (from The Vegan Cookie Connoisseur). Not shown: DVD of zombie movies and church-burning Norwegian black metal documentaries.

Image

Red Thai tofu (from Appetite for Reduction) with basil fried rice and garlic greens.

Image

Cinnamon scrolls from Vegan Brunch, with lemon icing.

Image

Chickpea cutlets with onion sage stuffing, herb-scalloped potatoes and mustard sauce.

More details and extensive rambling on my blog!

Everything you made suits my tastebuds so well. Fried rice + basil = win. And the stuffed chickpea cutlets look incredible--perhaps even something I might make myself for special holiday meals.

Your friend is seriously lucky- those cookies look so tasty, and the thai red tofu looks amazing! I'm so sad that appetite for reduction isn't coming out until sepetember 2011 in the UK.

Wow, September? That's insane. I don't think it's out in stores here until February, but I say fork the local economy, I'm getting it online.
