i baked a couple of things.

i've seen the "hypnosis cookies" around here but didn't find a recipe, so i used the roll & cut sugar cookies recipe from VCIYCJ. i had to add tons of extra flour, otherwise i can't imagine the dough to be roll-able, even after chilling.. for the chocolate dough, i just added cacao (cocoa?) powder and a bit more soymilk.
delicious.

Mocha Mama and Tahini Lime Cookie from VCIYCJ. i was lazy, so i just used a spoon to glaze the mocha mamas.

Korvapuusti - finnish cinnamon buns.
actually, they're supposed to
look like this.
i used
this recipe, but either she has super-dense flour (did i mention that i hate when dry ingredients like flour aren't measured by weight?) or else.. i don't know. i almost doubled the amount of spelt flour to get a dough i could work with.
the recipe says to roll out the dough a bit less than 1 cm.. i rolled it out to about half a centimeter and i think this is still too thick.
anyway, so they're not as pretty as they should be, but they're delicious! the cardamom in the dough is great. they're also super-fluffy thanks to triple rising (first a few hours in a warm spot, then overnight in the fridge, then again 40 minutes after rolling & cutting).
