so lovely! I haven't had a mango lassi in years (used to love them, haven't had one since i became vegan!!) but i think i will be culturing some sunflower milk and making one tomorrow! thanks for the idea!

Oh let me know how it turns out with the cultured sunflower milk. I wonder if the sunflower seed taste would over power the rest of it?

Thanks for the kind words about the food. I do add saturation in editing most of the time so the colors really pop.

It was absolutely fantastic. I'm drinking my lunch here and it's just wonderful.

I don't usually do fake milks, but for this recipe there's no getting around it, and it was great. i soak the seeds for min 24 hours before grinding and straining, and then i just mixed in the lemon juice right away. i think it would be much more seedy if the flavors weren't so strong (the mango was really ripe), but it was just perfect. i did put a bit more salt in (salt junkie), and it hit the spot! thanks so much for the idea!!!

Yay! I'm glad it worked. I'm going to give it try with Sunflower milk... it's so much cheaper than almond!
