Hey PPK. I have missed you. I have been in the longest kitchen funk I can ever remember. I haven't been on the PPK, on my blog, or in the kitchen much for weeks. I'm still feeling a little off, but I am trying to get back to my deep and true love of the kitchen.

This past week I wanted something healthy and fun to eat. I decided on Spring Rolls. They are always so pretty, they can't help but make you happy. Recipe is here.

Funk be damned I needed to get back to some testing. Here is a yummy black bean burrito from Robin Robertson's upcoming Quick and Easy Vegan.

Here is a BBQ-Pinto Portobello Sandwich. Yummy for the tummy.

Your summer rolls are beautiful! I have rice paper, I don't know why I never make them.

I know what you mean melomeals. I have a great asian market at my disposal, yet I never seem to make these either. They are so easy and quick. I must do it more often.

@ Momo - I love Robin's recipes, but I wish she had more pictures in her books.

@ Meggs - I know. It has been really odd not being excited about cooking. So abnormal for me. It was actually very depressing.
