nice!

so the shrimp etoufee . . . there was a restaurant I loved that had a "bubba shrimp combo" and they had shrimp bisque, shrimp etouffe and shrimp wrapped in bacon (i always got it w/o the bacon. actually, it's so far back I'm not even sure it was shrimp anymore. but it was amazing and I miss it.

The fake shrimp texture kinda freaked me out a little. I always fall for the novelty of stuff like that. Next time I'm just going to use soy curls. I thought about wrapping a couple in fake bacon & frying them, but I don't think I could handle it.

It worked! Sort of a smoky coconut cluster. Yeah.

I'm amazed by the food in this post! This is exactly the food I love, the food I wouldn't think I could pull off making, the food I depend upon restaurants for. Fantastic.
