I absolutely love tomato sandwiches! Yours looks delish!

I thought it was just me (or a Jersey thing or Southern thing mostly -- as I've lived in both areas). I love my tomato sandwiches with vegenaise, salt and pepper, and bacon bits. Yum!

MMMMmmmmm..... avocado. It all looks amazingly yummy.

It's funny you say that about these being a "Southern thing" because I just blogged about that yesterday! http://organarchy.wordpress.com/2010/10/23/back-to-basics/ I spent my summers with my grandfather in Augusta, GA. These were what we always seemed to have for lunch after running around outside in that hot summer sun. I grew up in Florida where we still ate them but not as frequently as in the summertime.

Tomato sandwiches are my go to meal right now! Pitiful I know, but I'm working on it! LOL That bread looks awesome! Is it homemade?

My first sampling of a mayonaise sub is nayanaise(sp?). It's fine, I can live with it, but alot of ya'll seem to use veganaise. Prevegan I was a mayonaise person (definitely NOT a Miracle Whip person). Is there enough of a difference between the two that I should try the veganaise? What do ya'll prefer and why if you're able to describe it!
