oh my god, i'm dying. dying. i feel so good about myself right now. i made some kasha-lentil mush last night that looked like aggregate concrete, but at least i remembered to use a pan and managed to avoid setting anything ablaze.

That was awesome. Did you click the link to see the guy do "Weber Cooks"? Who the hell needs a rice a roni cooking video? And he left the plastic spoon in the bowl when he microwaved. I can't believe I watched it.

It does kind of look like poo and eyeballs. But it has sauce and that makes it look kind of yummy also. That's a toughie.

The cupcake person is ME. ! Not really, but I asked jdfunks why I had to use a muffin pan for cupcakes and not just cupcake liners on a tray.

HILAROUS. Also, JL, I found cupcake liners recently that you can do that with. They're stiffer than regular liners. So you're on to something, at least!

The first thought that popped into mind was The Lost Boys and Keifer Sutherland: The maggots, Michael. You're eating maggots. How do they taste?

Potatoes :/

I wanted to make scalloped potatoes, but I used the wrong food processor blade and ended up with matchsticks instead of slices. I then left them in the food processor for an hour and they turned all grey. The picture is of them frying in my wok, but I should have squeezed out some water first, because they got all soggy in there. They ended up ok because I fried them til they finally got crispy and dumped a bunch of garlic powder and sriracha on them.

Oh! I thought it was basmati rice at first but then some of the 'grains' were insanely long so you either had the best basmati rice ever or it was something else haha.

I thought it was some sort of fried rice with bean sprouts. And maggots.

I sort of thought grains but the bits in the upper left hand corner were throwing me. Thats a gross food porn win.
And I'm glad they were edible; solid plan to unleash the garlic and sriracha...
