Chocolate chip walnut cookies.

Cold sesame/ginger/peanut noodles with mushrooms marinated in teriyaki sauce. These are great for me (college student in residence hall) 'cause I can make them in bulk and take a serving out of the fridge as I please.

Hot cocoa with cayenne pepper and cinnamon. I am never making it any other way ever again!

Sweet potato black bean quesadillas! No soy cheese, and yet I don't miss a thing.

Apple cinnamon crumb muffins. I decided to be disgusting and unhealthy by pouring a small amount of glaze on top of them. They're super moist the day after baking.

Trader Joe's used to have these cold noodles that tasted just like the kind I made, only mine is spicy.

My cookies are flattered by your slobber. I have to admit that as much as I enjoy baking/eating cookies, 90% of the ones I make are chocolate chip. I've given up on other recipes and just make my own. I like 'em crispy on the edges, chewy and soft in the center, and a little smaller than the size of my palm.

I love, love, love (!) sweet potato and black bean quesadillas. I haven't made them in forever and a day, but now I must!

I tried the VWAV cookies but didn't like 'em that much (well, of course they're still tasty), so I basically took the flour/baking soda ratio and went off that. Sometime this week I'm going to take a second shot at these, only I'll be refrigerating the dough for 48 hours. If that turns out well, I'll post the recipe.

The quesadillas look amazing. Is there anything else in there, or did you just place black beans and sweet potatoes in some lovely tortillas?

Onions, a little garlic, and salsa (my avocado unfortunately went bad, so no guac, waahhh!). It's actually quite delicious without any cheese/nooch. I'm trying to wean myself off that stuff, anyway.
