Not sure if this is porn but I could not find my light today and all the photos were not as great this weekend. Anyways people requested this dish.
Ok the top photo is Callaloo Fritters with raw papaya pepper sauce which, a few people asked me to make last week. The recipe will be on my FB page check the blog to read up more on Dasheen(taro).
The second dish will have to wondering what the heck it is but it is Dasheen(Taro) mash with coconut milk...(better than mashed potatoes), creole sauce. Tofish from Caribbean Vegan, plantains panko and cilantro chutney. Loads of flavour there and I got a little carried away.

Have not been posting all week since I did not have an avatar..still I do not like my avatar as it is an old pic of me but it will do for now.
Now loads of porn to catch up on and MOFO to start preparing for.

Yay! I'm the one that requested the fritters on old PPK (formerly, artemis_prime). They look great :) I'm so excited to get your book. My mum's side of the family is from Jamaica (I'm the first-generation american!), and I'd love to share your book with them.

cool I am so lazy but I will get the recipe up on the fb page later today..
I did not play too much on Jamaican cuisine since there are many examples of it but u will like the jerk pizza with the sweet potato crust and other stuff that overlaps with other islands...
will try to to the bammy on sunday I have some cassava in the fridge. Oh I will do the Jamaican Bake for Vegan MOFO so that is something that should interest you. Thanks for the feedback
