I am getting desperate for a Low Carb Veginomicon. Every time I open the Veginomicon, I see Potatoes, Wheat, Rice, canned beans....all too much carbohydrates!!!!! I need a book of the best ways to use vegetables and oily seeds! Low carb diets are not only for diabetics now.

I want a vegan how to cook book,(not just recipe's) that really gets into the workings of low carbohydrate foods. Using whole foods, not canned foods (except as an optional source).

And what can I do with a large double boiler? I just got a $35 pan for $3 at the good will.....I may try creamy soups?
like maybe cream of broccolli? but is there a way to make it without more carbs?

The only thing I know to do with a double broiler is melt chocolate.

There are a couple protein-centric cookbooks like The Great Vegan Protein Book & Protein Ninja if you go to the cookbook forum you can read what people thought.

well chocolate is important.....but protein is not what I am looking for. to get away from eating so much carbohydrates you have to eat more fat. The only way to burn fat is to stop eating carbs, except from vegitables only.

fiber nulifies carbs, so that chia seeds are teh best thing posible. try this

Double boiler or not, just keep whisking

Chia seeds about ¼ cup (4 tbsp 28g carbs) Chia seeds will thicken up when soaked for 10-15minutes. or heated then cooled.

Whisk in chia seeds....before melting chocolate

Chocolate milk about ½ pt (one cup). (milk is not essential) then heat or chill (do not heat past 100 degrees to keep the omega 3 intact).
1. Milk: almond, macadamia nut, soy, etc
2. melt shaved Bakers chocolate or use dark cocoa powder

Options:
Stevia is the only sweetener that I use, the refined liquid drops are not bitter.
Strawberry slices are very special
Vanilla extract is very desirable
Frozen very ripe bananas peeled and sliced (side)
Coconut milk yogurt (if you can find it without cow milk)
Cardamom?
