I'd be interested to hear about this book that just came out. Are there pictures? Do the recipes sound interesting? Did anyone try some of the recipes?

Ha! See, I would have just asked them where they were finding this amazing delicious dirt that tastes as yummy as the fabulous vegan food I cook and eat!

Does anyone have this cookbook? Or has anyone gotten it from the library? I'm curious if you would recommend it.

There are a few reviews here, both for the book and individual recipes:
http://vegansprout.com/detail/cookbook/ ... the-world/

The recipes are simple and do not use weird ingredients. I haven't cooked much from it but what I made was ok.
I prefer Kathy Hester's Great Vegan Bean Book if you don't already have it.

Oooooh! That chickpea cupcake looks great! I use chickpea flour in waffles and pancakes and love them for sweet baked breakfasty foods, but I hadn't thought about cakes....
