A couple of days ago I had this idea of a website with photos for all the awesome recipes in the printed cookbooks. It´s so easy to decide if I want to cook a recipe by looking at a photo - and it makes it easier for me to visualize the final omnom while cooking.

So I would love it, if there would be a website with all the recipe-titles for the best vegan cookbooks and the ability for users to upload their own interpretation of theese. Then you could get inspired online which recipe you would like to take on and then grab the cookbook and start!

I´d like to know what you think of this idea! Does this exist already (besides of the photos already scattered all around the interwebz) or am I missing something?
The only problem I see in this would be, that the cookbook creators had to agree on having a list of all the recipe-titles of their books online ... in reverse that would be great advertisement for the books, because you want to buy stuff if you see yummy stuff, right? :)

I would love that too. Usually if I'm looking for more photos from any specific book I look through the threads here and at VegWeb.

I think that would be a really cool idea. Usually I`ll just Google a pic if I really want to see it, but having everything in one place would be neat.

I like the idea too. I could be wrong, but I think most of the authors would love to have their recipes listed. It's not like you're giving away the recipes.

Mind you not all photos are tagged with the recipe/page number and there are loads of duplicates.
The old forums were neat because someone (tippy? maybe?) had complied all the recipe names, page numbers and then hyper linked it to the recipe name. So you could see a photo or two of each and every recipe from a selection of books.

Mhhh, that's interesting ... so Isa and Terry don't seem to have a problem with a list of all their recipes online. Still waiting for an email answer - anybody knows how to reach the two the best? :)
