I've only made one recipe out of this cookbook, the orange chocolate chip muffins. They were pretty good but not wow.

bummer on the not wow part :(

Yeah, they weren't bad but considering how much I usually love orange-chocolate desserts, I was a little underwhelmed. I need to try more from this cookbook sometime, since others here have had better results.

i bought this book. (it kept fluctuating in my cart - and it went from 15 dollars to 11 - so i figured, might as well get it).

I do like chocolate/orange things. I was actually very intrigued that she had croissant and things in here. so i'd like to try that.

I've been getting into a baking mood with the weather cooling down a bit. Recently I made the Lime Coconut Bars. They were very crumbly, but were a big hit with friends & family.

This week I made the Soft Wheat Rolls to go with a couple of different soups. I had never made clover rolls before. They were so cute! It brought back sweet memories of my mother & Grandmother making similar ones this time of the year for the regional fair. I wanted them to taste a bit more yeasty, but I really liked the wheat flavor that came through. I'll definitely be making these more in the colder months.
