Chocolate bottom macaroons! <3 They are soooo forking good. I love the orange agave chocolate chip cookies, too. I'm a cookie slut.

I made the peanut butter pillows again yesterday before work. Housemates obviously love them, there were 24 when I went to work, 13 when I got back!

I don't know why I waited so long to make the PB chocolate pillows. Yum.

Thank you for this idea!! I made them with regular flour but the choc chips were a genius addition.

I got really excited when I recognized the graham cracker recipe from this book in the lab notebook featured on this week's episode of Breaking Bad. And it reminded me that I really need to try those! Are they awesome? I bet they are.

Yesterday I made the Pignoli almond cookies and chocolate chip cookies. They are really awesome! I can't get enough. Sigh.

Boyfriend made 4 dozen of the chocolate chip cookies with added pecans and took them to his band's show the other night. I was bummed when he brought home an empty container (I wanted some leftovers!), but I was super excited everyone loved them so much. Oh! It was the guitarist's birthday, so there was cake to compete with, too. Go vegan cookies! Yeah!

You guys! I decided to make cookies to bribe my boss to do what I say at a meeting today (he is easily swayed by food), so I made the hazelnut fudge dreamies. They're awesome! I can't believe I never even noticed this recipe before (I think it's the lack of a photo). But yeah, so good. Super crumbly though, so maybe not the best idea for eating at work, but I don't care. Deliciousness!

They sound good, Erin

I always forget to post in here after I use this book. On the weekend I made a gf version of the choc chip cookies and they were yummo.

Made PB chocolate pillows from the website yesterday afternoon and warned my diabetic husband that they were very sweet and rich. His first words when we woke up this morning? "I had a low blood sugar reading last night and ate two of the cookies you baked." Me: "Man, your blood sugar is going to be through the roof." The result? His blood sugar was picture perfect this morning. VCIYCJ has now been ordered from Amazon. I see more cookie baking in my future.

I haven't made nearly enough from this book yet, but so far my favourites have been the Carrot Spice Chewies, Mexican Snickerdoodles, and the Deluxe Cocoa Brownies.

I haven't made snickerdoodles either, Madam D.

Everyone should make the Cherry Almond Cookies - the flavour is like eating a cherry Danish crossed with an almond croissant, I love them.

The Ginger Macadamia Crunch Drops are good too but for both recipes I got way less than 2 dozen cookies, 11 and 16.

I keep having that problem too. It might have something to do with me eating spoonful after spoonful of cookie dough while making them.

that's funny because I always get about 26-30 cookies from the recipes that say they make 2 dozen. I guess I make small cookies and some people must just make them bigger. What do you scoop them out with?

mm. cherries and almonds are two of my favourite things! these may be cookie batch number two. number one was snickerdoodles and they are lovely! they are like a chocolate version of gingersnap flavour. very good with chocolate so good ice cream :D

I went to my dad's this weekend and he had some Mexican Chocolate Snickerdoodles waiting. To my knowledge he never baked before, but apparently he makes these all the time—when he runs out, he just makes more. Pretty awesome.

I love those cherry almond cookies. So good.

The page for the rocky road cookies (I use Dandies instead of white chocolate--yums!) fell out of my book last night. So sad. They're my most made recipe from VCIYCJ, second only to the chocolate chip with pecans.

I made the cherry almond cookies with dried cranberries instead of cherries and they were delicious. Not quite as delicious as with cherries but dried cherries are very expensive.

How are the sell-your-soul pumpkin cookies? Crunchy? Chewy?

I just made the chocolate fudgy oatmeal cookies and I think they've changed my life. I only had 1 cup of oats on hand, though, so I added a touch more flour and 3/4 slivered almonds. I am a new woman.
