Lovely cookbook focusing on a breadth of vegan dishes. Mostly classics and comfort-type foods but also modern twists to other dishes. Full review, recipe for the tomato and beet panzanella and a chance to win a giveaway of the book here:

I love Gena's New Vegan column on Food52 and her Choosing Raw blog! I'm still debating on getting this, as I have way too many cookbooks as it is, but I'm curious to hear other people's thoughts.

This is a beautiful cookbook, and what I've made so far is delicious and quick to make.

-Penne with Summer Squash, Corn, and Herbs: Delicious! Will be in my regular rotation!

-Kale Salad with Kabocha Squash, Toasted Hazlenuts, and Pomegranate Seeds: I subbed sweet potatoes for the squash and left out the hazelnuts due to nut allergies. This was simple and delicious! While the pomegranate seeds add a beautiful and tasty touch, I don't think they're necessary. This too will be in my everyday fall rotation, but probably without the pom seeds.

-Double Chocolate Brownies: Yum! A great, basic recipe!

I looked at this but was surprised that it only has 60 recipes which is pretty small for a cookbook.
