I'm trying to decide between Asian Vegan Kitchen and Asian Fusion: A Culintary Odyssey of Vegan Recipes. Trouble is, Amazon is the only way I've been able to peek into Asian Fusion. From what I can tell, Asian Fusion gives recipe instructions in paragraphs, rather than the numbered steps I'm used to seeing, so I wonder if that makes the recipes hard to follow.
Does anyone have Chat Mingkwan's book who could say how they like it?
Or feel free to push to toward Asian Vegan Kitchen. I've just been waffling back and forth and need some advice.
Thanks!

I have Asian Vegan Kitchen and it is a great book. Lots of good pictures too. There are some people on this forum that use it a lot and absolutly love it.
I really need to cook more out of it, but what I have made is awesome.

I love Asian Vegan Kitchen! So much. I don't have Asian Fusion but I've looked through it. It looks great, but not as exhaustive as AVK. That said, I have two of Chat Mingkwan's other books and I LOVE them. I don't think you can go wrong!

I like the Asian Vegan Kitchen, impressed with what have tried so far. But some recipes are quite ingredient intensive.

Asian Vegan Kitchen is one of my favourites. A lot of stuff feels pretty involved, so I don't use it super often, but everything I've made from it has been great.

A fifth vote for the Asian Vegan Kitchen. My boyfriend is not vegan and uses it because it's just a brilliant book.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate your advice! I think I might be leaning toward Asian Vegan Kitchen now just because more people have it! It's fun when you can talk about your cookbooks!

Yeah, Asian Vegan Kitchen is a great cookbook. I like the wide variety of dishes, and everything I've made has turned out beautifully.

Another vote for Asian Vegan Kitchen! I don't have the other book but i really like this one and every single recipe I have tried was a winner. Also, there may be some recipes in there that are quite ingredient/time/labor-intensive but there are also enough that are really quick and easy to make and produce delicious results.

Yes, and I learned so much from AVK! I love the author's voice and writing.
