I love Isa's cookbooks as well as some others like Yellow Rose Recipes and Robin R.'s peanut butter cookbook, but I'm looking for something that has good healthy hearty vegan recipes for baked goods (like muffins and loaves that have protein and incorporate fruits or vegetables) and meals that are very wholesome, without sugar (or at least without a lot of sugar) and appealing to kids.

I've had a lot of success feeding my kid stuff from Dreena Burton's Eat Drink & Be Vegan. I think a lot of it's designed to be kid friendly.
Peas & Thank You by Sarah Matheny is kid friendly and has nutrition info for every recipe, which I like. It is hit or miss in terms of healthfulness/whole foods content. Some of the recipes are really reliant on packaged goods. But there are some great recipes that don't too. You might check out her blog and see if it's to your taste.
Hm... Who else...well, your mileage may vary, but I actually love Isa's Appetite for Reduction for cooking for my kid. A couple of the recipes are maybe a bit past the toddler palate but he loves a lot of it. No baked goods in there though.
