God, I'm excited. This was the first testing I ever did and it was years ago, but we still eat burgers from that book so regularly.

That recipe Joni posted sounds awesome, and based on that, I'm looking forward to buying this book in the unlikely event that I ever have disposable income again. Unfortunately, there would be a revolt in my house if I served anything that spicy!

I just preordered a copy...good price and free shipping. Thanks for the heads up. I am looking forward to this. The last Veggie Burger book I ordered was mostly egg laden, it will be great to have a truly Vegan burger book.

Wowwwww. I've been meaning to have a burger-off, making different recipes from various cookbooks, to find my favorites. There's another veggie burger cookbook out there but it looked comparatively way less interesting.

I feel like I posted in here already, but I guess not! I tested 3 or 4 recipes and they were great, especially the All American one. Really fun writing, easy recipes and awesome condiments, too. Definitely get this one!

(Oh but one called for like waaay too much Scotch bonnet pepper, I reduced it to just 1/2 of 1 and it was great. Not sure if it's the final one for the cookbook though.)

How heavily do these rely on gluten?

I tried to order this from Amazon today along with some other books and I was told my whole order wouldn't be delivered until July. Does that type of message usually happen with pre-order books? I'm wondering if I should wait until the release to order.

If you log into Amazon, you can see quite a few of the recipes. I looked through it the other day, but I wasn't paying attention to that.

I just ordered mine the other day and the order says May 4. Were the other books pre-order? You can also choose to have your order ship together or separately; that might change the delivery date.

Hmmm... nothing else was on preorder. I guess I should call Amazon customer service. I don't have the patience to wait until July for my veggie burgers.
