Without a shadow of a doubt, VWAV. And I'm not just saying that because this is the PPK.
However I do like 500 Vegan Recipes and Chloe's Kitchen.

i pick 500 recipes. ONLY because I'm a rebel. ;)
(No honestly, because they've got good stuff in there. I dunno what your collection is like, but you need some Celine/Joni lovin)

Oh man, I can't pick. I'm turn between VWAV and CK, mainly because I own them both, not that I've cooked an exceptional lot out of either. But it's a tie for me.

VWAV is winning by a landslide so i think that will be my next one but more people feel free to vote. it will pick my next next cookbook ;-)
to be honest i just want to order all 4 at once :-P but that seems excessive

I have VWAV, CK and VYY and like them all, so it's difficult to decide. I've probably cooked most from CK, but VWAV has the best cake recipe ever in it (Raspberry Blackout Cake!)! So I'd say either one of those two.

Depends on what you are looking for I guess. For me it's a tie between 500 recipes and VWAV. If you are looking for a good basic cookbook that has recipes for every kind of thing, I'd go for 500 recipes, if you want to try some new special things, take VWAV.

I was between VwaV and Chloe's Kitchen, and voted VwaV because it's a trusted old favorite for me. I agree it depends on what's already in your cookbook collection. I don't buy large general recipe collections like 500 Vegan Recipes anymore because I have tons of books like that, but I do love Joni and Celine's other books.

my collection includes:
Appetite for Reduction Veganomicon The Vegan Table Happy Herbivore Hearty Vegan Meals for Monster Appetites.
i think that is all.
the one i use the most is AFR but lately ive been using HVFMA alot. i like AFR the most because it has a lot of international/ethnic cuisine like the curries and stuff.

I love, love, love VWAV. It was my favorite cookbook until AFR, so I voted for it.

I have all four, and VWAV is by far the one that gets the most use. I use 500 a lot too, but I find those recipes to be pretty hit or miss, and some need some major tweaking. I like everything I've tried from Yum Yum, but I hate the layout of the book, so don't use it a lot. That's the only cookbook I have that is a pain to use from the way it's printed. And Chloe's Kitchen I've been enjoying, and the things I've tried are good, but it's not tried and true the way VWAV, and if I had to pick between the two, it would def be VWAV.

I really love VYY, but I know I'm in the minority! I think it has a lot of great weeknight recipes (though there are fussier things too). Most things have a very high taste-to-fuss ratio (better taste for less fuss).

VWAV was my first cookbook ever, and even though I've accumulated many more since, it is still one of my most-used (though I know many of the recipes by heart at this point.)

I picked VWAV because it is an excellent cookbook that has such a vast variety of recipes. I am really enjoying CK as well but VWAV is epic!
