With hurricane season upon us, I wanted to share the Vegan Heritage Press special to buy one copy of Vegan Unplugged and get a second free to give away. Or, split the cost with a friend, I suppose.
Lots of quick, cheap, easy recipes from Robin Robertson, even if you don't have a natural disaster on your hands.

It is really a great book even if you are plugged in :) - especially on days where energy levels are rather low and not much fresh stuff is in the fridge. I have made several of the recipes in this book - some over and over again like the
* Pantry Pasta Salad (often without the artichoke heads since I don't like them well enough to always stock them)
* Corn and Black Bean Salsa
* Almost-Instant Black Bean Chili
* Rice Noodles with Spicy Peanut Sauce
and I love love love the
* Amazing Technicolor Chickpea Salad

I found the tip about using (rather cheap) baby food in cooking as well which I have used extensively over the years!
