Hello!

How does one know if their homemade rejuvelac is any good? I sprouted the grains just fine, and put them back in with some water for 4 days (which I'm concerned is a bit too long.)

The water had a white film on top which broke apart after I strained out the grains. It smells pretty normal -- like yeast -- but I'm concerned that the thick film is mold.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

If the thick film is anything other than bubbles, then yeah, it's mould. Time to restart.
