Oh, I see that Carla Kelly's dessert cookbook, Quick & Easy Vegan Bake Sale, has also dropped to $2.99 at the kindle store!

ETA: And now I see that Alicia C. Simpson's first two cookbooks, Quick and Easy Comfort Food and Quick and Easy Vegan Celebrations, are on sale for $2.99 as well.

I was just popping in to mention Vegan Bake Sale is $2.99 as well - I've just bought all four (and I don't even own a slow cooker) so thank you for the heads up! I've already made one of the quiches from Vegan Bake Sale and it's in the oven right now. One thing that is really weird is that there are icons on the contents page of VBS denoting which recipes have photos in the insert, but there are NO photos in the kindle version that I can see. If it wasn't for the fact that it was a total bargain at $2.99 and a *really* great book, I'd write to complain/enquire. For those who are wondering, the two Carla Kelly books have a list of all the recipes with links from the contents page *and* the chapter title pages - they're very well organised and easy to navigate. The index is better than most too. Pity about the mystery of the missing photos!

A mini eBook title, Make It Vegan, by Isa is on the Breville site in PDF, iBook, and Kindle format. It's got ten recipes+videos, 7 from the book. I believe that all the recipes are already on her blog.

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams at Home is on sale for $3.03!

The sorbets are all vegan and fabulous:
Pineapple Piment d’Espelette Sorbet
Sour Beer Sorbet
Cherry Lambic Sorbet
Peach Lambic Sorbet
Black Plum & Black Currant Lambic Sorbet
Watermelon Lemonade Sorbet
Riesling-Poached Pear Sorbet
Baked Apple Sorbet
Cranberry Royale Sorbet
Influenza Rx Sorbet

The ice cream and frozen yogurt options sound delicious, but are non-vegan. The flavor combos are so creative and original though, I think they'd be fun to veganize:
Toasted Rice Ice Cream with a Whiff of Coconut and Black Tea
Scarlet & Earl Grey Ice Cream
Chamomile Chardonnay Ice Cream
Sweet Corn & Black Raspberry Ice Cream
Orange Blossom Ice Cream with Dark Chocolate Freckles
Lime Cardamom Frozen Yogurt
Grapefruit Hibiscus Frozen Yogurt

Everything Vegan by Vegetarian Times is $2,51 too. Pure Vegan is $3,03.

Thanks for the tip for Quick and Easy Vegan Celebrations, I hadn't seen that one.

Unfortunately not in Germany :( I would've bought it right away.

That's what I did, even though I already have it in hardcover. Zinnia, thanks so much for posting this deal!

Also bought Pure Vegan, thank you Minatomachi!

Not all of these ebooks are on sale in Australia unfortunately, but I just bought Pure Vegan. I gave the actual book to friends last Christmas and they made an incredible baked tofu with a smoky date sauce and tea infused rice from it - that recipe alone is worth buying the book for.

Many thanks to all who post ebook bargains ! Since I live in the northern forest, buying hardcover books and shipping is very expensive.

I downloaded 6 of the ebooks mentioned above for $16.50. This is less than the cost of just shipping ONE hardcover book.

Now I'm off to sip some chai and play with my new books; feels like Christmas came early !

Whereabouts are you? I am also in Northern Ontario. I buy most of my books from Indigo and the shipping is free from 25.00 and up.

Atria 2013 Baking Sampler Recipes is free on Amazon. It's not vegan but hey it's free.

Greetings fellow Northerner ! I am currently wintering in Thunder Bay, which does have the free delivery on orders over $25. I work with remote (mostly fly-in) communities in the far North. Because of the need to fly-in orders with smaller carriers, there is no free delivery and there can also be premiums depending on the weight of the order.

I am loving my Kindle for the ease of transport and low prices for books I wouldn’t be able to afford in paper form.

For those who are looking for ideas on how to store and prepare root veggies, the Kindle version of Roots: The Definitive Compendium by Diane Morgan is $2.90. ::sorry, can't get hotlink working:: This is NOT a vegan cookbook, though many of the 225 recipes can be easily adapted. What I like about the book is the info on types of roots, storage and preparation.

Here is a hotllink for Roots: The Definitive Compendium by Diane Morgan, which BTW is showing as $3.03 for me. (Not that I care about 13 cents).

It sure is a bonanza for cookbook loving vegan kindle owners these days!

It might be an Amazon.ca/Amazon.com difference, their prices are never exactly the same.

Thanks so much for the heads up! This book looks great, and easily veganizable. I've got soooo many beets in my fridge right now and everything in the beet chapter sounds amazing!
