march 5 is soon!!! i admit, i've been checking out bn.com/amazon.com on the slim chance that the book gets released prior to march 5. anyone else do that? it's so exciting when a pre-order gets released early!

Ive not seen this one at work - which is odd. Maybe this week - if I do I'll give you the skinny

my next cooking ventures will have to be from Sexy Vegan. I want to see if i want to pre-order his book. I've been ordering books lately and only cooking from a few (or blogs). lol big example: i was drooling over 1000 vegan recipes from Robin and now that it's here, cooked exactly 0. things from it.

I love that you guys are excited about Grills! I haven't heard anything from the publisher..meaning I haven't gotten my copy yet...so I'm guessing we might still be at least 2 weeks out!

Oh, I should have added that I am getting a copy of Celine and my Whole Grain Vegan Baking today...so that one might be out a little early! Or not. We never know!

well that is disappointing but not too surprising, wasn't the original date sometime in april?

i'll keep my eyes out on bn.com (we are members) and see if they update the pre-order release date

I wish they hadn't changed the date if they didn't mean it, I pre-ordered and was looking forward to getting it this week!

I know, still frustrating though. I am an impatient creature! And I'd much rather they stuck to one date and actually released it earlier (like the Whole Grain Baking book, which I just got notice will get here next week!) than moved the date but didn't meet it. Anyway, I'm excited for it and will be happy when it gets here. It would be nice if they'd open up the "look inside" feature so I can drool while I wait. :)

On the book depository it says it is out in 29 days. I think there is a good chance I will probably end up getting it. I really want to start using my george foreman.

this is weird. amazon.ca has this "shipping in 1-3 months" which means... i think they were shipping some. (sigh). wish they had shipped to me. last time they did this, was with Mikyoko's cheese book and it too 4 months AFTER the release date for me to get the book :(

They aren't shipping yet! Even the publisher doesn't have them in hand yet. All is not lost, daisysunshine!

basically yes, you can buy the book now but there most likely will be a delay in shipping, they had way more pre-orders than inventory on hand.

i couldn't resist, i ordered it anyway, despite knowing there might be a shipping delay, since bn.com has it discounted significantly more (46% off compared to 32% off) than amazon.com, plus i'm a BN member and got free s/h.
