I pre-ordered it the first day it was available on Amazon. To say I'm anxious for it would be an understatement.

I pre-ordered the kindle version of this book and now Amazon doesn't show pricing for it anymore. Does that mean that it will not come out when the paper version does?

Also, on the book page itself, Amazon is now showing November 7 as the release date and no kindle version at all.

I don't know what's going on with Kindle, but the book comes out Oct 22nd for sure! It is being republished in the UK in Spring, but the US one will be available on Oct 22 as well. I don't know who Sphere is! But the UK publishers are Little Brown UK.

I'll find out about Kindle!

I see now that the page I linked above was the Kindle version page. Sorry for my mistake in saying it was the Amazon page for the book when it's their page for the ebook.

So maybe November 8th is the date the ebook releases? Sphere is also listed as the publisher on that page, which I linked to in my previous post. So maybe Sphere is the publisher or at least the imprint that the kindle version comes out under?

Thanks for looking into it, Isa.

Ah! I pre-ordered on Book Depository the one that comes out Oct 22nd from Little Brown, and is now currently unavailable so I had a look at the other listing and compared the full bibliographic listing.

The first listing:
Publisher
Little, Brown & Company
Imprint name
Little, Brown & Company
Publication date
22 October 2013
Publication City/Country
New York/US

And then the new late listing:
Publisher
Little, Brown Book Group
Imprint name
Sphere
Publication date
07 November 2013
Publication City/Country
London/GB

I have no clue what imprint name means, but perhaps Sphere is some sort of subdivision of Little Brown? I guess when October 22nd rolls around they'll ship me a book or maybe they won't.

Going to have to put in my preorder soon. I hope it has the nutritional info, does anyone know about that yet?

There is no nutritional info.

But I started cooking from it already. The harira with chickpeas and eggplant was very good! Loved the herby twist :)

It's getting closer.... :)

I have managed to curb my vegan cookbook gluttony this year and this is the first book I've ordered in awhile. I cannot wait to get this in my little paws and read it cover to cover. Then I always make a list of the things I really want to try (which often spans 2 full pages).

A five page thread for a cookbook that hasn't been released yet must be a record. I'm excited, too!

The sad thing is I'm out of town next week on a work trip! Boo! But when I get back this cookbook is going to be my first order of business!

I would be happy to cookbook-sit for you. Make sure it gets enough love, is fed and watered.

I got excited by the comments saying that their copy had shipped but when I went to the UK amazon site, it says that it won't be released here until the 31st. So I bought two other cookbooks to console myself... :P

Well I am skeptical but I just ordered from the Book Depository, they said it's available and ships within 48 hours so... let's hope!

I want it now! <stomps foot like Veruca Salt>

Amazon still says delivery estimate of 10/22. I will squeal when it shows up, I know I will.
