Also: In addition to being quick, many of the recipes in the book are meals rather than components. This is big for me, because even quick dishes become time-consuming when you have to make a protein, a grain, *and* a veggie dish. There are lots of stews, stir fries, and bowls that contain a green, a grain or pasta, and a protein... so you can make one dish and just be done. It's brilliant.

I also really appreciate the number of pasta dishes that contain a protein and a green. I love pasta, but it seldom feels like a complete, balanced meal to me.... not in this book, though!

I think that one's in my top 3, up there with the chipotle sausage hash and dragon noodle salad. Isa's sausages are uh-mazing, but I usually cheat and use Field Roast with those first two.

I love the pizza bowl. Dear sweet pizza bowl.

Like all the other testers said, it's pretty much all great. I think Isa finally convinced me to like mushrooms... At least some of them some of the time.

Yay! It's on the book depository now for pre-order. When I complete one of my college assignments pre-ordering it will be my reward.

This! And it felt a little too gushy to say on FB, but here it's totally ok: Isa, you are perfection!

You guys, I tested for this book. My official recipe count was 94, but I made over 100 (tested some after they were closed). I can say, with all confidence, that this is a cookbook that everyone should own. Like, everyone (but especially vegans). If there is any question what cookbook you should buy this year, make it this one. You won't regret it.
