Zelavie, they will ship your other stuff assuming they are ready to go; they won't hold the whole order until 10/22.

Everything looks so yum, but that first casserole thing appears to be totally up my alley.

i totally get isa's post about palm oil here.....http://www.theppk.com/2013/04/buttersco ... nut-bacon/

but for those of you who were recipe testers, does isa call for using coconut oil in most of the recipes? i thinks i might be allergic to coconuts now :(

I think it's only in a few recipes! Definitely not many.

It's called for in a few recipes (maybe 15?) but for most of those another oil can be subbed (like, it's just called for as something to pan-fry in or the like). I can only think of a handful of baked goods that call for a significant amount (like maybe 5). I would definitely not let it stop you from getting the book.

Yeah, it's definitely not a baking book, most of the oil is just a tablespoon to saute stuff in. You can use whatever.

i have a question about non-US version(s). both Amazon and Book Depository have two listings for the book from different publishers. the one by Sphere seems to be a relatively recent listing and is less expensive, has a later release date, and no cover image. the one from Little, Brown is listed as currently unavailable on BD. can anyone fill me in on the difference between the two editions?

I pre-ordered this last week. I can hardly wait! I often spend my whole workday looking forward to cooking dinner. A new Isa weekday cookbook is precisely what I need.

bn.com says october 22 release date. i generally do not pre-order but will start stalking the bn.com page in a couple of weeks in case it gets released early. hubby & i are bn.com members.

The Amazon release date has changed up a few times, but it's been pretty consistently October 22 for a while now. Sometimes they'll ship early though! I'm considering pre-ordering a second copy, just in case tester copies come later, because WANT.

I pre ordered this book back in March. CANNOT WAIT. We went on vacation to the beach the first week of September and on the drive home I was lamenting to my husband that the summer was over and then I said, but! bright side to it being fall is that Isa Does It is almost out! And I mean that whole heartedly
