disclosure: I received an advanced copy from the publisher

Anyone have this book yet? Or made anything from it?

The book is gorgeous, is organized so well, and there are TONS of food photos. I've been reading the introduction and later plan to pick out some recipes to try. I look forward to making my own homemade sunflour as a substitute for nut flours! Amber really put a lot of thought into this book, there are substitute and variations galore for each recipe (especially for those of us with food allergies), and instructions for making the recipe raw, dehyrdrated, baked, frozen, etc.... You can tell she is really passionate about practically raw desserts (and the raw life diet in general, she has another cookbook too) and wants to make her recipes accessible to as many people as possible.

I'll be doing a full review on my blog sometime soon and I look forward to picking some recipes to try!

I just picked this up! I really love all the variations and substitutions; her other book was super flexible, too.

I haven't made anything yet but I just about fainted when I saw the tahini caramels.

so you can use the oven as a dehydrator sub? i have been getting into raw-ish food but have no dehydrator.

yup, you can totally use an oven.... her goal of the book is to make raw desserts as accessible to as many people as possible, spreading the raw love you know ;) of course if it's baked, it's not truly raw, but amber is not one of those strict labeling types of peoples, she seems to encourage flexibility in her recipes....

I was a tester for this book and most recipes were nice.

My favourites were: Individual Cherry Crumbles, Chocolate Protein Power Pudding & Chocolate Protein Bark.

so i want to make & share the detox macaroons. it calls for coconut butter - you think using coconut oil will be okay with these? she said both are inner-changeable for most of her recipes.
