Not sure if we've got a thread for this. Zsu Dever has the blog Zsu's Vegan Pantry http://www.zsusveganpantry.com/ which many of you may
remember used to be Weekly Vegan Menu and was one of the blogs mentioned in the PPK 100 a few years ago.

I haven't seen the book yet but I was lucky enough to test for it. These recipes were very thoroughly tested I can tell you. If any tester found any baking
time, quantity or temperature to be slightly off, Zsu made it again and again checking details.

The recipes are generally quick and easy and suitable for midweek dinners but very interesting. Some of them are dishes you will have recipes for but they have little twists. Zsu has a (I think)
Hungarian background and there a few of her old family favourites which I loved. Not to say you'd pick up the book and say it was full of Hungarian recipes
but there are a few I hadn't seen elsewhere.

When I see the book I will come back and do a list of my favourites as I don't have the real titles etc. Of the top of my head I remember really liking:

Banh Mi burgers with quick pickle
Black bean feijoada with collard greens
Country fried portabello with gravy
Baked macaroni and cheese
Chipotle chilli
Easy falafel (these were great, not a sad baked version but not the whole deep fried, tend to fall apart version either)
Hungarian paprika potatoes
Portabello fajitas
Cajun tofu sandwich
Noodle soup

Thanks for sharing this! I skimmed through the blog last night and everything looks really good. I like her meal planning system, too.

It's so wonderful seeing interest for the book! Thank you! And thank you, Liz, for the support!

Since the book is releasing soon, there are a few recipes circulating on the web and I'd love to share them:

Veg Kitchen has shared the Portobello Fajitas with Roasted Poblano Cream Sauce

Image

Oakland Veg just posted the Pad Thai recipe:

and because the best sneak peak is one including a dessert, Angela at Canned-Time is sharing the Fudge Brownie recipe AND is hosting a giveaway for the cookbook, Everyday Vegan Eats. Get the recipe and enter the contest!

I'll be back to post more recipes as they pop up! It is so wonderful seeing the recipes posted so you try them for yourself.

Warmly,
Zsu Dever

Last stop on the blog tour for Everyday Vegan Eats this week.

Robin Robertson (of Vegan Planet and Quick-Fix Vegan) reviewed my book and is offering a fantastic giveaway. Two books in one prize!

She is giving away Everyday Vegan Eats AND More Quick-Fix Vegan. I tested for More Quick-Fix Vegan (and my photos actually appear in the book!) and it is an awesome cookbook. It is the third one in the Quick-Fix series and they all contain different recipes.

Go here to enter the contest to win BOTH Everyday Vegan Eats and More Quick-Fix Vegan.

The pot couldn't be any sweeter! While there check out my Mediterranean Quinoa with Fresh Herbs recipe.

To sum up the giveaways:

Canned-Time (ends May 20)

Veggie Girl (ends May 19)

Cadry's Kitchen (ends May 20)

Vegan Appetite (ends May 22)

Robin Robertson's Global Vegan Kitchen (ends May 22 - two book giveaway!)

The more you enter, the better your chance of winning!

Thank you so much, everyone!

My guy made the meatless pies in biscuit crust the night before last, and they were DELICIOUS. I'm pretty much in love with them.

I've been quiet lately, because I've been stuffing my face with Terry's salads, but what better thing to go with a great salad than a vegan Flaky Buttermilk Herb Biscuit???

You can get the recipe right HERE on the Savvy Vegetarian site.

And if you'd like your very own, shiny new copy of Everyday Vegan Eats, enter the contest HERE, at Simple Beauty Minerals and HERE, at Olives for Dinner (and check out the delectable photos over there!)

I make the California Club Sandwich (or a variation using the same formula, depending on what I have on hand) at least once a week.

I have all the ingredients for the Scampi Pasta; so I think I'll make that next.
