Has anyone got the new cookbook from the Brighton restaurant? I think it might be coming in my Christmas stocking and wondered how it was. We've eaten there a number of times and I think the recipes will be slightly more manageable than the Terre a Terre book!

Don't have it, but it is on my Christmas wish list. There were a couple of sample recipes in Cook Vegetarian magazine last month or the month before, and they looked a little complex, but doable. I've only eaten there once, but would love to go back. The food was seriously good.

I got it for Christmas. It's nicely published but it hasn't wowed me. Some things are naturally vegan but the things that look the most interesting are not and thy say stupid things like "To make this dish vegan, leave out the butter and cheese", which drives me mad. It would be far better for a dairy eater, but I'll update this thread with what I do make.
