I was finally able to find a copy and I am interested to see what people have made and liked from the book.

Of the UnMeat recipes, I love the UnBeef, UnChicken, and UnBacon.. They're all pretty delic. Their pimento cheeses are pretty tasty for sandwiches and their cashew mayo is damn tasty, though I add significantly less water.

We use the N'Egg recipe as an egg substitute in baked goods all the time. Not really a stand alone thing but it was the recipe that broke me away from using Egg Replacer (the Ener-G kind) many years ago.

The boiled dinner is aces. So good! There is also a skillet dish I make frequently with potatoes, green beans and unbeef. Can't remember the name of it, but you'll probably find it easily enough in the unbeef section.

This was one of my first vegan cookbooks. I use it often and we usually have a batch of Square Meals in the freezer for quick meals.
These are the recipes we make most often:
Anadama bread Ginger Snaps with Cayenne Coconut Cookies – very good with mango sorbet Monastery Shortbread – a nice light cookie – simple ingredients
BBQ UnRibs with Sauce [best BBQ sauce ever !] all the broths for seitan Mushroom Gravy Sweet and Sour UnPork 1 Swiss Unsteak Unbeef Gravy UnBeef Stroganoff [even better the next day] Unchicken Pot Pie
Eggplant Lasagna with Cashew Sour Cream Indonesian-Style Tofu Oat Burgers Potatoes Au Gratin Shepherd's Pie Square Meals [such a good and adaptable recipe] Squash Creole with the Yeast Cheez Tamale Pies
It is always a good idea to read the recipe you plan to make ahead of time, because you often have to make 2-3 other recipes to make them work.

This cookbook makes many unique contributions to the knowledge and techniques of vegan cooking - especially in making and using seitan. Unfortunately the book has been out of print for ..... around 10 years ?? Eno95 from the Old PPK Forum scanned the Simply Heavenly chapters on seitan and broths and put a 48 page file on Torrent. To use Torrent, I think you first have to download the free app and then go here: Gluten (seitan) & Flavoring Broth recipe sections (20 MB) http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4265874

I just bought this book, and it looks divine! (I found it used on Amazon) What is the skillet like? Does it cook up just like it says in the book?

I love this book! Even hubby, omni, loves to cook from it. I have a list of things at home that I made from it. The eggplant lasagna tops it, we've made it many many times, and served it to omnis who liked it just as much as we did. Also used often are the cashew sourkreem, yeast cheez and the notzarella. For lunch I just had the Paprikash, it's great. I also made some of the quick broths. Will report back, this is my favourite and most used cookbook we have. BBQ UnRibs with BBQ sauce was wonderful but it made a huge amount.

OK, here are other dishes we made that were awesome and we make often: Number 1 is the eggplant lasagna!!! Tamale Pie Scalloped potatoes 1 Mexican lima bean casserole Mushrooms in Kreem Sauce Spinach au gratin, although we used swiss chard instead Spanish tomatoe sauce heavenly broth other quick broths Also really good are: Unsteak Etoufee Saucy ground unbeef casserole stuffed meatless loaf Mac & yeast cheez Zuccini Casserole with tomatoe cheez and rice cajun eggplant squash creole
What we made and wouldn't do again: Carrot roast, wasn't a fan of this although I love carrots mushroom stroganoff, although I don't remember why
We use this book mostly mid-fall, winter and early spring because a lot of the recipes involve quite a bit of time
