I just made the 40 clove (reading the recipe off Amazon on my laptop). Loved it! I love roasted garlic more than most things in the world, so no real surprises there. But it was so good and so easy- I'm having a baking spree tonight and made it between batches of cookies, it took no time and next to no effort at all. Can't wait to actually have the book.

I think my partner is getting me this for my birthday in about a month. I'm not sure if I can wait that long! The Amazon 'closer look' feature is amazing!

Maybe when Isa gets back from Paris? Yeah I can't wait! Also, I'm wondering will we know what recipes won't make it in? I really hope the miso/apple/tofu dish makes it in because I've been living it up with apples lately. I keep making this one from memory but I know it got mixed tester reviews.

Mine has shipped! Weird thing...I was looking on my Kindle if that was available too (hey, Isa's books are worth having in print AND electronic) and I got all excited because another book shows as available for pre-order from Isa.
It's called "Thinking Like a Lawyer", by Isa Chandra Moskowitz. Oh, and "Appetite for Reduction" seems to have been written by a Kenneth J. Vandevelde. So basically Isa is a lawyer and this Kenneth guy ghostwrites her books. I am confused!!! They'd better fix that. ;)

Yay, so happy that people are getting it. Please leave reviews of the recipes you love on Amazon!

I ordered mine from Cosmo's and it arrived in two business days! It was a nice surprise. No tester copy here!
Potpie Stew-amazing. Sweet potato drop biscuits-also very nice! We had leftovers tonight, so I have to pick what to make for dinner tomorrow.

I got mine in the mail last night. I'm sad that I've already done grocery shopping for the week, but this way I'll have time to look through the book before I choose meals for next week, at least. I'm weird about having to read through an entire cookbook when it arrives, before I decide what to make.

My book arrived yesterday and I think this may be the first cookbook I cook my way through entirely. I had no idea that it would have so much great nutrition info, and in reading last night, my husband and I were like "holy fork, we have really been unhealthy vegans!" So very super excited about this one. From main dishes to bowls to sandwiches, it's filled with great ideas. Thank you, Isa, for your strong work to not only make us happy vegans, but also healthy vegans!

I ordered it and I will be posting a review as soon as I've made some stuff! I can't wait. I might jump the gun and make the chickpea picatta tonight.

I'll just say the recipes were delicious. There was probably only 1 recipe in the entire 40-50 I cooked that I'd say I was on the fence about.
I've made the zucchini-black bean tacos so many times. And don't forget the garlic-lemon yogurt which goes oh so well.
The Vietnamese Rice noodle salad is so good, reminds me of my weekly vietnamese lunches with coworkers that I used to have.
Carribbean curried black-eyed peas with plaintains introduced me to steamed plaintains. Nice, spicy dish.
Also the lettuce wraps with hoison-mustard tofu taught me how to cook tofu. Really. I use that method to cook all the time now.
Red Wine & kalamata Tempeh and also the buffalo tempeh are great tempeh recipes.
Portobello pepper steak stew is filling and delicious.
Sweet potato drop biscuits - make them, love them.
Ok without looking at the actual recipes, those are the ones that really stand out for me.

Mine has shipped! Unfortunately, it's shipped to my sister, so I have to wait for her to then ship it to me (I wanted the US version, not the UK).

I make the Caldo Verde all the time. As soon as it got cold it was the first thing I wanted, and I've made it, like, four times in the last two months.

Barnes and Noble won't ship the copy I pre-ordered 12 weeks ago until December 7th, so I'm jealous of all of you. I guess I can't complain too much since it was a gift card, but it's aggravating.

Mine arrived yesterday. I got home late, read through the book while I ate leftovers (delicious leftovers). I just started a new job (tiring) and I usually plan all my meals for the week on the weekend so no new cooking until Saturday.
It's going to be a fun weekend! I love the appearance of the book as well, which is really important to me in a cookbook. I also love that it's all savoury dishes.
Isa, you are amazing!

I got my copy in the mail yesterday and will be posting an Amazon review as soon as I am able to cook a few recipes. The barley recipe with beet in it (sorry! don't have my copy right next to the computer) looks so pretty, and I have one lonely beet in my fridge that needs a recipe. I so can't wait to cook from this one!

Just got my copy! The format is wonderful and the index is easy to navigate (a huge plus!).
One of the first recipes I want to try is the Apple-Miso Tofu. Question: When do you add the sesame oil?
