Just before we switched boards, I noticed a recipe for Quinoa Puttanesca. Holy crepe! I don't know how I missed it during testing but I've very excited to make it ASAP. Everything in this book is SO EFFING GOOD.

I have to stop reading this thread because I keep getting excited about the book then disappointed that I cannot own it yet.

Those sweet potato biscuits were amazing, and that garlicky green goddess dressing is so good I make it in triple batches. Also, the thai style dishes like the green beans and red curry tofu.

I can't get the words "OM NOM NOM" out of my mind.

I know. I desperately want to make this again, but I can't find my print out, and I wasn't clever enough to save the recipes before the old forum went down. Boo.

Anyone know how long tamarind paste lasts?

ETA: one of the best things about this meal is that it tastes as good at room temperature for lunch as it does heated for dinner. It is also good in lettuce wraps.

I almost pooped when I learned of this book's future existence. Then I was like "aww, DECEMBER?? So far away." But then I realized it's actually only like 40 days away.

I too want that sauce, but I didn't even have the foresight to print anything off. I also just realised I'll probably be away when it comes out.

As far as I can tell, tamarind paste lasts until you use it up. It's pretty acidic and I've never had it go funky on me.

Mine is shipping one month from today. So, in approximately one month and two days from today, I will be cooking up a storm like I did last year with VCIYCJ.
