I make this at least every other week. I lost a bunch of the recipes that I had saved when my hard drive crashed mid-testing, so I can't wait to get the book and revisit all the early recipes that I loved!

Does anyone know if there are desserts in the book? It would be cool to have recipes for sweets that are lower in calories because decadent desserts are my downfall.

Nope, it's all meals.

Don't forget that you can also order from your local independent bookstores! See if they'll order extras for their cookbook section. They need the business too.

I second this. The next few weeks are going to be torture, but the good kind.

The recipe for 40 Cloves of Garlic, Chickpeas and Broccoli is one of the recipes that lives on my fridge. So excited to get my hands on this book!

I like this. I'm kind of averse to low-fat desserts (I'd rather have the full-fat version only every once in a while than have a low-fat version often), so I'm glad I get to look forward to a book full of things I'll want to make!

I've only tried the baked onion rings, but holy cow are they good; I like them better than the fried ones! And I think I need to try that chickpea piccata this week.

I have a moratorium on buying anything, but I do have $60 sitting in my paypal account I've been meaning to spend. This might just be the thing! I'm praying to the sweet baby Jeebus that I can find sweet potatoes here because the tamarind sweet potato tempeh sounds forking amazing.

Is there a table of contents, a flickr photostream or something similar to paw at while I wait eagerly? I would like to torture myself with the awesome foods I must wait one month to make.

Seriously. I would love to check out the table of contents! I guess they will do a "look inside!" on Amazon once the book is out.

I know there are other folks who posted pictures on flickr, but here's the ones we took while testing.

Pretty much forever. I've had mine in the fridge for at least a year, maybe 2, and it's fine and tasty.
