Ooh, that is high praise. I am not a fan of tofu sauces, but now I will try this. (No, pudding doesn't count! Ha!)

I had some of the chipotle ranch sauce on VWAV spanakopita last night (hey, it was delicious) and it struck me that the sauce reminds me a lot of the sanctuary dressing from AFR but spicier. So if you like the sanctuary dressing, you'd probably like this.

I did not like the sanctuary dressing, and I love the chipotle sauce. I do love spicy food, though.

Now that it is fall I'm making one of my favorite recipes from YRR - Roasted Roots. I had them for dinner last night and put the leftovers on a salad for lunch. This is a perfect side dish for almost anything!!

Any way someone could PM me the tamale pie recipe? I'm away from home and without my cookbooks.

OR you can buy Yellow Rose Greatest Hits! http://www.lulu.com/shop/joanna-vaught/ ... 89931.html$28 isn't particularly cheap, but Lulu is always having deals for x percent off of any purchase so you can keep an eye out for those.

hee, thanks :)
Creep - thank you - i did post a little wish list :) [I might have to start buying a tonne of vegan cookbooks, just to swop!] I just really started to really concentrate being vegan so right now I have nothing to swop, but I hope to work something out
and I actually saw that too Kelly/mrsbadmouth. :) I think there is a part of me that wants to know... but what are the other recipes like :) but i figure if the best of is all the "good" stuff, it's better than nothing. :)

heads up: when i get to texas (in a few weeks!!!) i will be selling about 20 copies of yellow rose recipes. i'll be selling them for $18 each or $23 dedicated and autographed.
i will also be moving yellow rose greatest hits away from lulu to createspace, which has less overhead and should allow me to drastically reduce the cost of the book. i'll update this thread when it happens.

Oh, sorry, that wasn't clear: When I move to Texas, I will be selling some copies of YRR online, probably through Etsy, although they take such a cut that I might just add a page on my own website with a Paypal button.
There will only be about 25 copies, but hopefully that will be enough so that people who've wanted YRR for a while will be able to have it. I found an extra box which I didn't know I had. Oops! Basements!
And yes, Appy, you can post it anywhere you want. I am going to hold off posting about it on my own website until they're ready to be sold, or otherwise there will be confusion.
