I am VERY intrigued by this cookbook. I haven't bought any new cookbooks in awhile. Did anyone recipe test for Vegan Tacos? If so, what did you think?
Do the recipes call for whole ingredients or does the author use convenience foods like store-bought fake meats, sour cream, and what nots?
I do not have gluten allergies, but my digestive system does not like seitan. I was wondering if anyone, who maybe has an advance copy of this or did recipe testing, knows if book uses a lot of seasoned homemade seitan in place of meat, or if soy products are used like tofu, soy curls, and tempeh. Or BEANS! YAY for beans!
I'm a bit nervous about the "entertaining anecdotes from the author," not sure what to expect there, other than maybe he's made the brief intro for each recipe more wacky?
