My preorder shipped and it is destroying me from the inside that there's no preview online! Can someone at least take some pics of a ToC? My copy probably won't be here for at least a week and a half. Waaaaah. *whine* I think this belongs in the PSP.. thread.

I preordered it with a cd and don't have prime, so mine won't ship until the cd is released. BOO.

I'm pretty excited for this. I'm transitioning from working from home to working from an office, so I'm going to need awesome lunch salad ideas.

I'm really excited for this! Just in time for the start of my CSA, too.

Was anyone here a tester?

Scheduled delivery: tomorrow, 06/04!

I adore pre-order. I get excited about something, pre-order it, then get a nice surprise months later, when the release date is no longer lingering about in my over-filled brain.

Hooray! I need more salad in my life. My visiting brother-in-law, when hearing about my plant-based lifestyle last year, said, "Riiiight, you just eat a lot of salads and stuff." Uh, no, actually - maybe 2 a month? Need to bump that up! For now, my fresh veg come in the way of a green smoothie.

Booo on no "Look Inside"... Just checked. =(

I think this is the cookbook that could finally make me excited about salads.

For people that like pictures, this is the book to get. It is pretty cool looking. The Tempeh Reubenesque Salad and the Pepperoni Tempeh Salad are on the top of my todo list.

I really hope a Kindle edition comes out and soon. I want it but I rather have the ebook as the printed cookbooks take up too much space. =/

You won't believe what I did. I wanted to bring the book with me to work today so I could go to WF after work to pick up ingredients but then I forgot the book at home.

UPS doesn't drop off here until later in the evening. I want to make my grocery list this morning though! Woe is me.

I'm excited to try some of the dressings right away.

It's a very pretty book, but a design fail from a readability standpoint. The headings in the table of contents are dark teal on dark grey. Ingredients lists have orange headings and cream text on dark grey. Recipe variations are listed in dark blue on dark grey.

I'm not in a super bright room right now (can read newspaper or normal things fine), so it was giving me a headache and I was having trouble reading some things. I'll go through it more later.

I feel petty talking about the design, but I can tell that it might be fun to cook the recipes, but it won't be fun to actually use in the kitchen.

My copy arrived today! This will be tonight's bedtime reading material! I'm way excited about this book because I eat a salad everyday and the other salad books I have just wasn't cutting it.

I'm reading mine right now. I eat a salad pretty much every day for lunch and I'm not really looking for a change to that routine, but I hope that it will be good for ideas in summer heat wave dinners.

My first impression from flipping through is that I'm excited by the different ways to prepare tofu and tempeh as toppers/dinners/sandwich fillers/snacks. Also I love new dressing ideas. I like the breakfast chapter because I am really into overnight oats right now.

Since there is no look inside feature yet, here is the table of contents:

This book looks great! Does anyone know if the vast majority of the dressings use cashews? There's a nut allergy in my house. Thanks!
