By Joanne Stepaniak.
It says "Quick & Healthful No-Cook Sauces and Dressings" on the cover.

Does anyone have this? I ordered it today because if my husband peers into his plate and asks "Where's the sauce?" One more time I'm gonna sauce him.

I did a look inside, and the recipe gave suggestions for what to serve it with. Hopefully it'll be a good book!

I like it. She has lots of good ideas for sauces, plus does a really good job of listing options of what to serve each with. She got me hooked on ume plum vinegar too, but I generally use way less than she calls for, as that stuff has serious salt issues.

Good Idea, using less. I checked it out in the store the other day and I dropped it and ran. But less would definitely work. Now when I see her recipes with it I can make them!

I recently received this book and I think it's fantastic. As for the ume plum vinegar, I read in the 'vegan sandwich' cookbook that red wine vinegar can be substituted. Since this cookbook does not have a recipe list prior to each chapter (or in the table of contents), I'm currently typing a list up and will post back here when it's done.

I love that for every single recipe she suggests in the sidebar at least 3 different ways to apply the recipe. The "no-cook" part is so applicable right now with spring coming and then summer around the corner. Eventually in the south, it just gets to hot to turn the oven on.

There is just so much to choose from, what have been some of y'alls favorites?

Thanks so much for recommending this book!! I think that it is going to make dinner time so much easier. I already made one of the peanut sauces and a cilantro sauce and put it over tempeh, veggies and rice/potatoes. So easy!! This is what I have been looking for!
