i made the Smores cupcake recipe out of VCTOTW this weekend and when i took them out of the oven they looked beautiful. i left them on the stove still in the pan for about 10 mins to cool before taking them out and when i came back they had fallen :-(
they still taste great im just wondering what secret baking thing i did wrong. here are a couple things i am unsure had anything to do with it.
*im not 100% sure i put the correct amount of graham cracker crumbs in. i dumped all of them in before realizing i needed only a half cup and the rest for decoration *i made a DOUBLE batch because i wanted to bring some into work so i had two trays side by side in the oven *i left the oven alone for the 22 mins of baking then ended up opening and closing it several times after trying to figure out if they were done or not

yeah, it sounds like they just weren't done enough at 22 minutes for you to open the oven and also the extra graham crackers could have had something to do with it too. Those fell for me the first time I made them, too but I've made them successfully since then!
If you're baking a double batch you'll usually need to leave them in for longer.
