ndpittman wrote: Does the ASOS pricing seem a bit odd to anyone? I'm wondering just because I see that they have a pair of Vans that I ordered from Zappos. Zappos price was like $40, and ASOS is like $80. I had shopped around for the Vans, and $40-ish seemed the norm. Some of the ASOS pricing is weird because all the pricing's just UK pricing in US dollars so a lot of the US brands are stupid expensive.

I thought that may be the case Pastabake, but I also thought it was weird for them to take a US order for a US product and then ship it from the UK. Eh. I'm not in business though, so what do I know about such things. I'm wearing these today, but I'm not sure for how long! They aren't too uncomfortable, but I am not used to wearing heels. http://www.forever21.com/Product/Product.aspx?BR=f21&Category=shoes_highheels&ProductID=2000037787&VariantID=

Can anyone recommend comfy black or brown sandals? The simpler the better. I hate store shopping, but on-line is so hit and miss for comfort!

Invictus: These from Target are supposed to be comfy (per the reviews). http://www.target.com/p/Womens-Mossimo-Supply-Co-Winifred-Braided-Flat-Sandal-Assorted/-/A-13788642RJM: They don't pinch, and are plenty wide. I got a size 8 and I'm usually between a 7.5 and 8. I had enough room for arch support insoles and everything. I'm just not used to walking in heels or having pressure on my toes like that! They also had a mustard yellow color that was divine, but I'm glad I got fuchsia.

Thanks! I just saw those but they didn't have any in my size in the store. I'll have to check them out

Can anyone recommend some shoes that would go well with this dress? It's for a fancy wedding in the South of France in August. Heels are fine, but I'm not so much into wedges, and definitely no toe-thongs (ouch). Also, the color of the dress is a bit brighter than it looks in the photo. I have some nice t-strap retro-ish black heels that look fine with it but I'm thinking maybe something other than black might be better for summer?

Here are some choices I would wear. And I probably wouldn't wear black, but that's just me. They're from ASOS and Vivienne Westwood so not cheap, but I really like them. They come in a pink color that's more similar to your dress also. And these two are from Lulu's.

Just ordered these Mel shoes for some upcoming weddings. They apparently smell like bubblegum.

I have no reason to buy these, but I still keep compulsively adding them to my shopping cart.
