There are two DSW around here; I'll pop in and look.

Thanks for the tip!

I need to find Men's dress shoes, not black. VeganEssentials has the Herbert from Vegetarian Shoes. It looks like a contender but I can't see many other options.

Macy's has some vegan options - at least mens dress boots when I was looking!

It looks like Alfani does synthetic or a mix. Some of their shoes listed leather in the lining even if they were not leather uppers. This shoe says it has a man made liner, sole and it is a man made upper. I would've never guessed Macy's so thanks.

Too bad they're $150. I almost wish the logo were leather or something so I wouldn't feel so tempted. I found the larger sizes on sale, but no dice for the smaller ones.

I have boots made out of Gortex. They were expensive as hell but they are ah-maaaaa-zing. Waterproof, snow proof, warm, hold up very well. Worth the price in my opinion.

I have some Goretex boots for hiking too and they are great. That site is awesome, if I didn't have enough shoes, I'd totally order the waxed canvas flats they have.

Ok my next request are sporty mary janes?

My old ones are starting to look a bit ragged. Wide width friendly is a plus.

Ok and funnily enough, I thought the ones I had were leather but they so old, I can't tell anymore. Anyway, although my shoes are no longer offered, a similar style is offered by the same company and they look to be leather free:

These are kind of what I'm looking for so any other similar ones would be good to point out as well.

So Macy's gets a boooo. A major boo now that I have to return shoes this time of year. I searched their entire men's shoe department and found 1 pair of oxfords that seemed to be all man made materials. Received it last night "leather and man made upper". Seriously Macy's? Couldn't you have put that on your website.

Oh and I'm eyeing these shoes from Ecco, it looks like they are vegan but I hate getting burned. Zappos is much better with their descriptions though. They also have a leather version (which is more expensive).

I'm not normally enthusiastic about shoes, but I do covet those boots (Mustang):

I think I'm going to get myself these red booties by vegetarian shoes. They are also available in black, which would allow me to combine them with more outfits, but I just love red.

Image

The vegan shoe shop in Amsterdam now also has these vegetan satchel type bags in various colors which I covet beyond belief. They are quite expensive and I don't need a new bag at all, so I really really need to not buy one when I go in to try the red booties on.

Image

I would look so smart with red booties and a red bag... So many opportunities to talk with people about leather alternatives... BUT MUST NOT BUY!

I know, I know ... they're simply too gorgeous! I again wish I hadn't chosen to do research on that brand (I do some copywriting from time to time), otherwise I wouldn't have found out about their fabulous clothes. Too bad they're not sold in the US, I didn't know that.

I got them (or...my boyfriend got them for me for Christmas.) in black! They're perfect and I've been wearing them nonstop.

Don't enable me, pittman! I now realise I'd need to acquire a swishtaculant cloak to go with and that just will not do.

Saks has gorgeous $600 Stella faux suede and faux leather ankle boot wedges on sale for $256, if anybody is feeling wealthy. The lining is listed as faux wool, whatever the heck that is. I'd post a link, but it's in the iPad app. If I thought I could walk in them, I'd be out counting the toll change in my car and plotting ways to get Molly to eat cheaper food.

I got these for work. I love them. They make my feet super sweaty when I've never had sweaty feet problems before though. They are my first every day vegan shoes so I'm not sure if that is the norm or what.

I think I saw a similar pair on mod cloth that were on sale!

LW!! So glad I can no longer justify $300+ for shoes. Not that I ever should have. I feel like I have a Pinterest board dedicated to Stella McCartney.
