I got one super on sale this fall and it still works great. I carry it almost daily so it has taken some abuse.

This is totally off-topic re: Mat and Nat, but I wanted to thank OSO for posting the link to the messenger bag. I have been looking for something exactly like that for almost a year now. Just put in an order. I hope the quality has stood up.

I have a few matt and nat items, too, and they've held up really well (some I've owned for a few of years, some just a year or so..), so I think it's worth taking the risk now.

Matt & Nat items seem really boring.

Guys, I need help. I saw a green purse that I really liked and wanted to find something like. Although the brand has some vegan offerings, the purse is definitely leather. I've tried Matt & Nat, Gunas, Jill Milan and various other sites. Any idea where to get a similar bag like the one here?

Oh odd, I went through the Nordstrom bags and didn't see that one, that might work for my purposes.

This one has the right colour but is a bucket style.

This one has more the shape but the colour is different.

That said, I LOVE my Pixie Mood bags, the quality of the vegan leather is really nice and the quality in general has been really good. My favourite bag of all time finally got ruined the other weekend and I'm super sad they don't have that style any more.

I saw a Coach tote bag with a T. Rex on it--I need to find somebody to make me one.

I really like that bucket bag too and they have some other cute bags.

LW, I'd try some of the etsy stores. Maybe if some would do an add on maybe, I think you can put in what you want on Etsy and have people bid on it?

Oh and this shop looks cute, canvas bags with some dinosaurs on them (among other things)

This one is pretty cute

That is really cute and it's purple; I'll have to look at etsy. This thing I loved about the Coach tote is that it's sleek, stylish and adult looking, not cute. I do have some cute dinosaur stuff already. I like the idea of an everyday bag that would go with my dressier work clothes.

I got an amazing stegosaurus key chain. I'm sure there is a reason Coach is making dinosaur stuff all of a sudden, but I can't imagine what it is. They also have a woolly mammoth necklace that I want. Just not for $200.

I'd still message someone like Vegan Leathers on Etsy or something and see if they could help ya out.

I'm so over black in bags right now but this bag is really cute for a tote.

That's a good idea. I'd like one out of a vegan leather instead of canvas. I'll promise myself one as a treat for making it though first month of school in the fall. I have a feeling I'll need a carrot.

I want a cross-body bag that actually holds shiitake. Like more than a phone and a toothpick. Why are all cross-body bags designed to hold just a toothpick!!!

Do you like Baggallini bags? They have lots of cross-body styles and are very functional.

I ended up buying that green bag from Nordstrom and it came. It is Crossbody, lightweight, cute and holds quite a few things.

That's great. Finding good bags usually seems annoyingly difficult.

I have an excellent crossbody bag of thrifted that's from Banana Republic but the fabric is getting holes and soon it will need replacing. I'll check out Baggalini.

Thanks for the tip!! I never heard of them. My problem is mostly that I always need a bottle of water on me so that makes bag buying harder. Those look good though!

Whenever I am looking for a bag, I usually scour ebags.com and zappos. Even if I can't find the bag I want, at least it gives me more insight into brands.

Somebody should convince pandacookie to enter the bag/purse market. Anybody who can make pizza cat beds would make excellent bags.

I have a pandacookie bag or 2. She hasn't made them in a few years though.

I know this thread is a few weeks old, but I second Baggallini! I was looking for a durable tote bag that is big enough to hold all my shiitake, including my water bottle and my maternity notes, and found their Alberta Gold Tote (in Pacific Blue) at TK Maxx a couple of weeks ago and I am SO in love with it. I have been searching for the perfect bag and finally, finally found it. <3

The Helsinki Travel Tote, which is actually a cross-body bag, was also big enough and seemed more gender neutral in style, depending on the colour.

I actually liked my tote bag so much, when I found a piece of Baggallini rolling luggage (the rolling tote) at TK Maxx last week, I bought it! It was 1/4th the price of anywhere else I've seen it in the UK (their stuff is cheaper in the US).
