No, really. Me too! I don't think I've *ever* bought my own socks. She actually told my fella that now that he's part of the family, he better accept that he's getting underwear and pajamas for Christmas. I love my mom.

The underwear I ordered online is still not here! According to the tracker site, they tried to deliver it about five minutes after I went out on Friday. It should arrive on Monday.
Then I will conduct the experiment of trying to sit on my balls in different underwear. I'll keep you all informed.

Matalan's 3-for-£5 boxer-briefs and boxers. Nothing fancy or remotely ethical about them, but I reached the "funk this shizzle, I'm not paying £15 for some pants*" stage and went with a set made out of Chinese children's tears and panda intestine.
* Pants is what English people call underpants. We're cool like that.

* Pants is what English people call underpants. We're cool like that. whilst they're far from spotless, last time i saw a table matalan weren't actually that terrible ethically when compared to most of the other major places (primark, m&s, tesco, asda/george etc). i mean, obviously they're no gossypium or PtP but relatively speaking, they're better than a lot. my current pants selection contains garments from matalan, m&s, howies, h&m and my new tk maxx purchase...

Gossypium is (or seems to be) from the town I'm from (Lewes), and I occasionally get pants from there for Christmas. They're very comfortable!
It has a shop on the high street where they usually have two grey men's jumpers in size XXXXL and a pile of pants in one shade of grey and one shade of… ceramic beige? I did actually ask them if they planned on expanding their men's range (which seems to be aimed at the London dads who moved down recently and say they do yoga and shop locally and eat white gluten-free bread because "they're avoiding processed grains" *takes a deep breath*), and she said they're going to start doing hoodies.
Hoodies? Hoodies?! I have not worn a hoodie in public for a long time. I mean, there are some nice hoodies in the world, but they're just a little bit too near sportswear for me to be convinced that they are actually not secretly yoga-hoodies for dads to be given at Christmas and will only come in grey and beige and size XXXL.
This is the problem I have with buying ethically (Fair Trade etc) produced clothing. While the women's stuff is generally quite nice, if a little bland and available only in the "waifish Boden mother" style, the menswear is just awful. Two designs does not mean you now stock a wide range of menswear, especially when one says "out of stock" and the other says "coming soon".
Anyway, Matalan pants. Yes.

my matalan pants were bought to replace some gossypium organic cotton boxers i'd had for quite some time, and have now been consigned to pants heaven. very comfy, yes... BUT, very dull too! navy blue or dirty grey only. yeah. not for public sightings really.

The only photo of me in only my underwear also features nipple tassles. It's not a pretty sight, but is is a spectacle. Yes, I think that's the word.
